Join Dr. Ming Wang for an inspiring FREE evening exploring the intersection of science, faith, and the evidence for a Creator. Drawing from his life story and the film Sight, Dr. Wang will share his journey from atheism to faith and explain how his groundbreaking work in laser eye surgery and the incredible complexity of the human eye led him to discover evidence of a Creator. Through science, personal testimony, and the lessons of his life, he will share how his pursuit of scientific understanding ultimately led him to faith in Jesus Christ.

In this presentation, Dr. Wang will tell the story how he, just like the student in the film “Sight” and “God’s Not Dead”, came to America as a staunch atheist, and believed that science will save mankind. Fascinatingly, it was in the study of the science of human eye, where he discovered the powerful clue and evidence for the existence of a creator! He will talk about the complexity of the human eye, from visual signal capturing, processing to interpretation, and how the science has led Dr. Wang to God! And how life has taught him the Creator is Jesus Christ!

ABOUT THE FEATURED PRESENTER:

Dr. Ming Wang is a Harvard & MIT graduate (MD) and is one of the few laser eye surgeons in the world today who holds a doctorate degree in laser physics. He has performed over 55,000 laser vision surgeries, including on over 4,000 doctors. The Angel Studios’ film “Sight”, is based on Dr. Wang’s autobiography. As a teenager, Ming fought poverty and hardship in China and came to America with only $50 and earned two doctorate degrees, one in laser physics and one in medicine, and graduated with the highest honors from Harvard Medical School and MIT.

Amniotic membrane contact lens, which Dr. Wang invented and for which he donated his patents to the world, has been used by tens of thousands of eye doctors in nearly every nation and millions of patients have been helped. Wang Foundation for Sight Restoration has helped patients from over 40 states in the U.S. and 55 countries, with all sight restoration surgeries performed free-of-charge. Dr. Wang was named the Kiwanis Nashvillian of the Year for his lifelong dedication to help blind orphaned children from around the world..
